Welcome to Pepe's Piri Piri Woodlands Rd, a vibrant corner of Glasgow that promises a fiery culinary adventure. Located at 124 Woodlands Rd, this establishment aims to deliver a unique take on piri piri cuisine, characterized by the bold flavors and zest found in traditional Portuguese and African dishes.

As you step in, you're greeted by a lively atmosphere, ideal for casual dining or a quick meal on your break. The menu boasts an array of tantalizing options, from juicy chicken wraps to spicy fries, sure to ignite your taste buds.

Despite the promise of a flavorful experience, recent reviews paint a contrasting picture. Customers have expressed concerns over quality control and service efficiency. A review from Rayan Noman criticized the staff's disorganization, highlighting a disappointing dining experience with bland food and hygiene issues. This sentiment resonates with some visitors who felt the spice levels were mismanaged, as pointed out by FASHION INDIA ARORA GESTIONES. They found the food too spicy for their family, resulting in a waste of time and resources.

  • Hunter Rogers echoed this sentiment, commenting on the disproportionate cost-to-portion ratio, raising questions about value for money.
  • On a brighter note, Gordon Campbell praised the deliciousness of the chicken wings and the attentiveness of the staff, positioning Pepe's as a viable alternative to other popular chains.

Among the highlights at Pepe's are their piri fries and the option to customize spice levels to suit your palate. While the kitchen seems to excel in some aspects, such as the wings, there remain critical improvements needed in consistency and service. With a focus on ingredient quality and a commitment to customer feedback, Pepe's Piri Piri Woodlands Rd holds the potential to become a beloved spot for spice enthusiasts.

If you’re intrigued by piri piri flavors, perhaps give it a try, but with tempered expectations. As with any culinary experience, the journey can be deliciously unpredictable!

Had a horrible experience at the Woodland Road branch of PEPES. The cashier was unprofessional, and the entire staff seemed completely disorganized. The food was very disappointing—poor quality, bland, and lacking any spice. To make matters worse, I found a hair in the chicken burger I ordered. It’s clear that hygiene is not a priority here. This place definitely deserves a one-star rating. I would recommend avoiding it at all costs.

i will never recommend. i self with my wife was in cash counter for the order. and minimum times i repeated, and one time my wife told that our minor children cannot eat spicy food. kindly prepare mild normal food. but the food was so spicy. no one ate food. due to spicy food. we wasted a lot of time and lot of money. we went from the restaurant Hungry. i am also owner of restaurants. but i full respect my clients.

I came here on work break. Quite disappointed with the cost to portion ratio with the food. ÂŁ. for a wee little wrap, wee portion of chips and drink, way overpriced, I understand operations costs but it's a catch when your customers leave still hungry, why not fill your wraps with more cheap veg to bulk it up, or have larger cups for your premix drinks? The food quality was alright enough, but honestly, this is the reason why I just don't eat out all that much in this country, paying premium prices for very mediocre food and small portions seems to be a very common thing in the UK. The service was very slow for a fast food service, seeing - workers in the kitchen but with diners making up less than half capacity on a Monday lunchtime, even with delivery app orders on the pass (very few I saw.) I wouldn't really recommend coming here if you value your money's worth.

Part of the order was missing!! Even if you complain to Uber, you only get a refund for the missing food which is pointless when some people can eat snd others have no food! If you reorder, you have no choice but to pay extra delivery charges. If food is missing, they should replace and deliver it for free
